graduation

this is a vertical slice - one level, early in the game, with all mechanics and systems.  the goal of the vertical slice is to understand pain points and what does/doesn't work in the gameplay so far.

after completion and playtesting, i sat on this game for about 3 months before deciding to cancel it - the amount of time it would take to get it to a state I would be happy with would be enormous. I learned a significant amount from this project that I will take forwards.

You are June - a recent college graduate, aimless and unemployed. You've been offered enough money to pay your rent for half a year if you sneak into the office of Constellation - a major defense contractor - and get evidence that they're bribing elected officials. The person offering you this money? The former CFO of Constellation, Danny Randolph. Guided by your "guy in the chair" November, sneak through the office without getting detected - if you get seen, even once, it's all over.

controls:

• wasd for movement, mouse for look
• e for interact
• ctrl for crouch, shift to run
• snap to walls by moving forwards into them by crouching, move along walls once you've snapped to them with a and d, break off the wall with s

why are there two mac builds?

v1 is built for intel+apple silicon. IDK if it works, but if it does i put it first as it would be most compatible

v2 is built for apple silicon. i'm like 85% sure it works, but it's likely less compatible
